DEYE WS Series Utility-Scale ESS
Configuration: WS-L4300-BC-3 BESS + WS-PCS1125-2-A PCS + WS-TS1000-2-A Transfer System + MS-EMS.
Purpose
A utility-scale, liquid-cooled energy storage solution delivering high energy density, cost optimization, and resilient power. It smooths demand peaks, reduces electricity bills, provides backup power, and enables participation in VPP and ancillary services. Suitable for medium to large C&I facilities, microgrids, logistics, manufacturing, retail, agriculture, and public utilities.
System makeup and roles
BESS WS-L4300-BC-3 is a 20-foot container with LiFePO4 modules and liquid cooling. Nominal energy is about 4.34 MWh, nominal DC voltage 768 V with a working range of 648 to 876 V.
PCS WS-PCS1125-2-A is a 1125 kW bidirectional converter for 400 Vac 50 Hz grids, supporting PV DC coupling up to 1.8 MW via MPPT trackers.
WS-TS1000-2-A is a Grid Gen Load transfer module with transfer time up to 20 ms for seamless source changeover.
MS-EMS is the energy management controller providing cloud monitoring, optimization, and broad communications.
Operating concept
During solar hours, the system captures PV energy through DC coupling to minimize conversion losses. During peak demand, stored energy is dispatched to the facility grid to cut demand charges and energy costs. Upon a grid outage, the transfer system quickly switches to battery supply to keep critical loads online.
Architectural flexibility
Supports DC-coupled and AC-coupled topologies plus hybrid PV BESS Diesel. This allows both islanded microgrid operation and grid-connected value stacking such as arbitrage, frequency regulation, and power factor support. Cluster management simplifies scaling while ensuring high availability.
Safety and longevity
LiFePO4 chemistry and liquid cooling are paired with multi-level fire protection and electrical safeguards. AC leakage and DC insulation supervision and HV interlock work alongside sensor networks and EMS logic. Enclosures provide high ingress protection and anti-corrosion ratings for outdoor deployments.
Intelligent control
EMS delivers peak shaving, demand control, backup power, SOC balancing, phase management, and cloud monitoring. Advanced options include load forecasting, production planning, and price-based scheduling. Over-the-air updates improve functionality without production downtime.
Connectivity and integration
Interfaces include Ethernet, fiber, RS485, RS232, CAN, WLAN, and cellular, plus digital I O for interfacing with protection relays and automation. Integration with SCADA, third-party BMS, and corporate EMS is straightforward using standard protocols.
