The JSDSOLAR J6500HC-48 is a modern hybrid solar inverter built for reliable backup and autonomous power systems. It intelligently manages energy from solar PV, the utility grid, a generator, and 48V battery storage — making it a strong choice for homes, apartments, offices, retail locations, and small businesses where uninterrupted power matters.

6.5kW pure sine wave for stable operation

With a 6500W rated output and pure sine wave waveform, the inverter is suitable for sensitive electronics and motor-based appliances. It also supports up to 12000VA surge power for short startup peaks. Output voltage options include 208/220/230/240VAC with 50/60Hz frequency, helping the system match common installation requirements.

Designed to maximize solar harvest

The J6500HC-48 supports up to 9000W PV input power and uses an MPPT charger to optimize energy capture throughout the day. The MPPT operating range of 60–450VDC ensures stable performance under varying sunlight conditions, while a 500VDC max PV open-circuit voltage allows flexible string design.

Fast, high-current battery charging

A built-in 120A MPPT solar charge controller enables rapid battery charging. AC charging is also supported up to 120A, with a combined maximum charge current (PV + AC) limited to 120A. This means faster recovery after outages and stronger performance in backup-focused systems. The inverter supports multiple 48V battery types, including AGM, flooded lead-acid, and LiFePO4 lithium batteries with communication.

Works with or without a battery

A key advantage is the ability to operate without a connected battery. This is ideal when you want to start with PV + grid/generator and add storage later. When a battery is installed, it functions as an energy buffer — storing excess energy, covering demand peaks, and providing backup during grid failures.

Dual AC output and flexible priorities

Dual AC outputs and multiple output priority modes let you tune the system to your needs — maximizing solar self-consumption, prioritizing battery, or relying on the grid. Fast transfer time of 10ms (normal/UPS) helps minimize disruptions, especially for sensitive loads.

Generator support with intelligent ATS

For generator-based systems, the inverter includes intelligent generator energy management with ATS support to ensure continuous supply and more efficient operation when solar or grid power is unavailable.

Monitoring, Wi-Fi, and OTA updates

A 4.7-inch color screen provides clear local control and status information. Built-in Wi-Fi supports remote monitoring via an app, while OTA updates help keep firmware up to date. Connectivity options include USB, RS485, RS232, dry-contact, and standard Modbus for integration.

Built for demanding environments

The inverter includes multiple protection functions (overload, overheating, short circuit, reverse connection protection, and more). A removable dust cover helps in harsh or dusty environments. Operating temperature is -10°C to 50°C (storage -15°C to 60°C) with 5–95% non-condensing humidity. Compact dimensions (410 x 336 x 110mm) and a gross weight of about 9.5kg make it easy to install.
